Riding Your Bike in Gainesville In The Morning

October 13th, 2009 by sidley No comments »

If you set off on your bike before sunrise you could see a glorious sun rising above the sea. This is spectacular scenery that should not be missed on the beaches of gainesville bikes. The bikers could also ride through the wild rose bushes where thee rustic wind brings the sweet fragrance of wild flowers to them. The bikers at Gainesville follow the routine of biking with religious fervor. The bikes matter to them more than any of their possessions. They eagerly buy all the bike gadgets that arrive in the market.  A biker should use the suitable bike for the country side. Generally there are three classifications of bikes. There are mountain bikes that are designed to ride on the rough terrain and road bikes that could be used for commuting to work from where you live. These bikes are built for the roads and you could use them safely. There is a breed of recreation bikes available in the market which comes at a very high price. It is better to use the proper bike which would be appropriate for the terrain you ride on. As the mountain bikes are very light they could be fit for a cross country adventure.

Power Biking on Gainesville Trails

Biking is all about fitness and the endurance power of the biker. At gainesville bikes would have ample opportunities to explore the beaches and also the rustic country side. But the road conditions are not likely to be favorable for bikes, which could have their tyres damaged very fast. A damaged tyre could spoil a well planned expedition on bikes. Therefore it is necessary for a biker to bring along at least two spare tubes and puncture repair kits. It is also necessary that the bikers should be suitably attired for biking.  A pair of shorts along with footwear that would be convenient for biking would be absolutely essential if you are to enjoy the country side of Gainesville. Small injuries too are likely to occur unexpectedly and so the bikers should also have a good first aid kit. These bikers could interact with the happy people in the country side who would be glad to have them for a cup of coffee. Friendliness would flow through the country side naturally unlike the cities where every one manages to wear an artificial smile. Biking through Gainesville would be an unforgettable experience for any one with the required level of fitness.

Bikes are the perfect gadgets to get relaxation and fitness at the same time. Biking could be an activity that combines pleasure with leisure. A bike ride through the country side would be completely relaxing when the gentle breeze brings along the smell of wild flowers with it. A person would be free from his worries and stress when he is on a bike ride through the country side. Florida is a state that loves bikes and there are several communities that are fiercely loyal to the bikes. The gainesville bikes community is a group of persons who are addicted to the pleasure of biking.  They would consider any tour as worthwhile only if they could travel the entire distance on their snazzy bikes. These members regard the bikes as their own living extensions and stay on them except when they eat and rest. They collect any information regarding bikes with interest and visit the bike stores with a fervent desire to buy all the best accessories. They spend a lot of time in reading magazines about bikes and maintain their bikes with the greatest care. Gainesville is the perfect place for bikers where they could ride through the beaches and also through the woods.

Native of Gainesville, Bike Enthusiast

October 13th, 2009 by sidley No comments »

Benjamin Higginbotham a native of gainesville bikes reminds us once again the need to be careful on roads when we ride our bikes. It is not enough that we use the appropriate protective gear. Bikes would not protect us in case of an accident.  This is precisely the reason why special paved roads are provided for bikes. The bikes, even the finest ones that cost as much as a regular limousine can not be maneuvered properly and stopped at high speeds. Such bikes should not be used at high speeds on highways. Higginbotham was wearing all the protective gear but unfortunately he failed to see the red light at the traffic junction. A Chevy truck collided with him and he was thrown off. His injuries are so severe that he requires special treatment and surgery from the University of Florida.  He could have been a little more careful and should have seen the red light sufficiently earlier. It is highly doubtful if he would ever be walking around normal again. This incident should serve as a severe warning to all the bike riders who flout the traffic rules. Let us hope and pray that Benjamin should recover soon from his injuries.

Responsible Biking in Gainesville

Bikes are not for those who would not ride them responsibly. The bikes are designed as pleasure vehicles that could at best be used for building up fitness. There is hardly any safety feature except for the brakes that would protect the rider. Bikes would not protect the rider in caser of an accident even it is maintained in the top condition. Benjamin Higginbotham aged 21 is a resident of gainesville bikes. He was riding on his bike with his helmet on. He was using the paved track that is meant to be used by the bikes. Nothing unusual happened and he was wearing all the protective gear. He failed to notice a stop sign at a road junction and collided head on with a Chevy truck. The truck hit the bike with such an impact that Higginbotham was thrown away. He was severely injured and the Gainesville hospital did not have the required to treat him. So he was flown to Florida University where the required medical facilities were available. He is still reported to be in a critical condition. Benjamin would be out of harm’s way today if he had been a little more careful. His failure to see the red signal has proved too costly.

Leisure Bike Riding in Gainesville, FL

Bikes can be a source of inspiration and a man riding on a bike cross country instills hope and cheer in all the people. Buddy Boren retired from the U.S. Military and was diagnosed with cancer. He fought of cancer on his nasal cavity by his sheer will power.  He had to undergo surgery and several sessions of radiation. He was completely cured of cancer by his resolute will power to fight against the disease. Today he is in normal health condition and is 66 years old. But, he is not satisfied with being able to be normal again. So he started off on a bike all on his own to spread the message that cancer is curable and any one could fight the disease. His journey began from gainesville bikes a place known for its bike loving communities.  People who see him ride on a bike get confidence and begin to think that they too could shrug off their disease. On his first trip from Gainesville he covered a total distance of 3100 miles, which is massive by any standards. He took fifty seven days for his first trip and is still not content with that. He wants to ride more and travel to more places to spread the good message.

Story of Gainesville Bikers

Buddy Boren has successfully emerged from the clutches of death. Today he is back to normal and is actively involved in his usual routine.   He wants to show the other cancer patients that they too could fight the disease if they had the will power to do it. He wants to put out a message to the cancer patients that they too could be back to active life like him if they had a will to fight against the disease. The patients who are devoid of hope are not going to be impressed if he drives around in a powerful SUV. No body is likely to believe him even if he shouts at the top of his voice. This is not the way to show the world that he is fit again. So he chose to bike around several states and spread the message of hope. Bikes display the strength and resolute will power of a person. He started on a bike from gainesville bikes and headed westward armed with road maps. He undertook the first trip on a bike from Gainesville and rode for fifty seven days. He covered a distance of 3100 miles and every where he went he spread the message of hope for the cancer patients.

Gainesville, FL Biking Precautions

October 13th, 2009 by sidley No comments »

Bikers can get into nasty accidents if they do not take adequate precautions. It is not the BMX vert bikers alone who need the protective gear like helmets. No one can see a vert biker perform on the vert ramp without his helmet firmly strapped on. It is the helmet that protects the life of the biker every time he falls off it. Bikes are wonderful for a ride across the town at any season. You could ride it for pleasure, fun, exercise and fitness. You can also ride on a bike to work.  But you should also remember that this is a flimsy machine that is not designed to offer any meaningful protection to the biker. A patient brought to the gainesville bikes hospital with serious brain damage would stand testimony to this fact. Robertson did not have his helmet on while he was riding his bike. A car came from the rear and hit him. The impact was quite massive and Robertson was thrown off the bike. When he landed, his head hit the ground and his skull was smashed instantly. This accident could have been averted if Robertson had been a little careful on the highway. The brain injury would not have occurred if he had strapped on his helmet.

Rules to Biking in Gainesville

Bikers do not realize that they can not afford to be careless with safety equipments. Bikes are excellent means of transport and offer excellent entertainment and fitness. A biker who was admitted in a serious condition at the gainesville bikes hospital is a sad reminder of this fact. Robertson the biker from Lake City has suffered severe head injuries as he was not wearing a biker’s helmet when he got into an accident. A car that came from the rear hit Robertson’s bike with a massive impact and he was flung into the sky. The bike was completely damaged and Robertson landed on his head that was unprotected. If Robertson had worn a helmet he would have got away with a few bruises and a fracture perhaps. This incident shows the need for professional approach towards biking. Sure, biking is a pleasure activity but taking on the highway without wearing a helmet is suicidal, to say the least. Robertson suffered severe fractures on his skull and his brain too is reportedly damaged. It is highly unlikely if Robertson would ever be able to ride a bike again. This is an entirely avoidable injury if Robertson had strapped on his helmet before he started off on his bike.

Rachel vanslyke is the most accomplished singer who is also crazy about bike riding. He loves bikes of any kind and has a habit of visiting many places on his bike. This biker who has many fans all over Florida has started on a cycling tour from gainesville bikes from October 10th 2009.  The singer would perform to a huge crowd that gathers to hear him at all the places that he visits. This is actually a music festival that combines biking as well. The love for bikes is quite natural for people from Gainesville and this singer too loves bikes more than any other means of transport. The singer spreads the message of environmental awareness by traveling on his bike to wherever he performs. Already many have started worrying about the impact of emissions on the atmosphere. Any suggestions for reducing the emission of green house gases is always welcome. The singer could have traveled by a stretch limousine to all the places very comfortably. But he wanted to drive the message that people should start loving bikes more and start commuting on them. Already his sincere effect has started bearing fruits and more and more people have taken to bikes.
